Galatians 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel

Throughout Church History, the gospel of Jesus Christ has come under attack. Wherever the gospel is proclaimed, counterfeits have prevailed. The church has been called to hold fast to the true gospel. Our task is to believe, obey, proclaim and defend the gospel. So in a time and context of numerous gospel counterfeits, we sound a rallying call for the church in Africa to reclaim the abandoned gospel.

Registration for the conference is open, so please register and pay in advance to reserve your spot. The registration fee is K350 per person (no discounts available). The registration fee includes lunch Tuesday-Friday and conference material. Lunch is not provided on Monday. Supper will only be for those lodging on campus.

Accommodation is available for guests outside of Kitwe but will only be reserved upon payment of the registration fee and the K100 accommodation fee. The deadline for reservation is Friday, 10 November. No accommodations will be reserved after the deadline.

Spiritual Growth & Ministry Track

The theme for this year’s conference is Reclaiming the Abandoned Gospel. The book of Galatians will be our book of study. In Galatians 1:6, Paul admonishes the believers when lamenting; I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel.

Belinda Spilman
USA
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. In December of 1976 I was accepted to serve with Biblical Ministries Worldwide in a church planting ministry. Arriving in Uruguay, South America in January 1980, I served along side missionary couples in this endeavor. After 25 years or so of learning, growing, and serving, God placed on my heart the need to be intentional in passing on what I had learned. He has opened several doors giving me opportunities to invest in other ladies. Aptas para Servir (Ladies able to Serve), a ministry to the local church helping to train ladies to serve in their own churches, has given me the opportunity to work one on one with different ladies, as well as groups of ladies. In 2016, I was asked to teach the ladies at our Bible college here in Uruguay. Along with these ministries I also serve in church planting in rural towns in the interior of Uruguay. I am delighted to serve our Good God, who has saved me by in infinite grace, made possible through the sacrifice of our Savior.
